About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Purchasing Administrator to join our growing team at, one of Ireland's leading online retailers.
This role goes beyond standard administration — you'll be a key part of our procurement process, managing backorders, processing invoices, liaising across departments, and proactively contributing to stock forecasting and demand planning.It's a great opportunity for someone with early supply chain experience who wants to grow into a more analytical and impactful role.
Key Responsibilities
Backorder Management – Keep our customer backorder list updated and prioritised to ensure timely resolution.
Invoice Processing – Verify, process, and forward invoices accurately to the accounts department.
Cross-Department Communication – Provide regular lead time updates to customer service, sales, warehouse, and website teams.
Goods-In Accuracy Checks – Review unallocated stock and resolve discrepancies between deliveries and purchase orders.
Stock Forecasting & Analysis – Analyse sales trends, identify stock risks, and recommend order adjustments to support accurate demand planning.
Systems & Reporting – Use MS Excel, CRM, and ERP tools to manage data, generate reports, and improve workflows.
What You'll Bring
1–2 years' experience in an administrative, purchasing, or supply chain role.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator, able to work effectively with multiple teams.
Solid skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) and MS Office.
Ability to adapt quickly to new systems (CRM/ERP).
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong initiative.
Analytical ability to interpret sales data and contribute to forecasting decisions
