Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless warehouse operation, aligning with site objectives of customer satisfaction, workplace safety, quality, productivity, inventory management, and fostering a respectful work environment built on transparency.
To achieve this, strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and PC skills are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Achieve warehouse targets by ensuring timely order fulfillment and minimizing error rates.
2. Identify and rectify problems to cultivate a positive working environment.
3. Process critical orders promptly and ensure all other orders are completed within three working days from receipt.
4. Conduct regular audits to maintain good housekeeping and a safe working environment.
5. Train and certify warehouse personnel to perform their duties effectively.
6. Provide daily feedback to warehouse employees on performance, listen, and offer guidance on corrective action.
7. Perform the daily cycle count process to monitor stockroom accuracy and take corrective action as necessary.
8. Maintain contracts for maintenance services.
9. Optimize warehouse inventory placement to meet service level, productivity, and safety targets.
10. Maintain high standards by managing relationships with local service providers.
