Trade Technician
The role of a Trade Technician involves working with technical drawings and blueprints to assemble, install and maintain machinery and equipment. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
* Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools according to engineering specifications.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
* Determine assembly and installation requirements from technical drawings and blueprints.
* Perform welding, cutting and fabrication activities to create or repair metal structures and components.
* Use measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to ensure accuracy in component dimensions during assembly.
* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to discuss progress, challenges and potential improvements in the trade process.
