Anicare Vets, Blanchardstown is looking for a friendly, organised Veterinary Receptionist to join our Blanchardstown clinic.
This is a key front-of-house role within a busy, modern veterinary hospital, where you'll be the welcoming face of the practice and an essential support to both clients and clinical staff.

Salary €14.15 per hour.
Role and Working Pattern
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with eight-hour shifts scheduled as either 8:30am to 5:00pm or 10:30am to 7:00pm.
The role is Monday to Friday only, with no weekends, no out-of-hours and no bank holiday work, offering excellent structure and work-life balance.
You'll be part of a larger reception and clinical team, so reliability, communication and teamwork are key.
Responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for clients, providing a friendly, calm and professional welcome in person and over the phone.
Manage appointments using the booking system, handle calls and emails, process payments, and complete end-of-day procedures.
Support the smooth running of the hospital and assist with stock deliveries and light lifting.
Maintain a clean and organised front-of-house area and support the wider team with general administrative tasks.
Build strong product and service knowledge over time to confidently answer client queries.
About Anicare Vets Blanchardstown
Our Blanchardstown clinic has recently been refurbished and is fully equipped to support high-quality veterinary care.
Facilities include dedicated surgical and dental theatres, digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental X-ray and a comprehensive in-house laboratory.
The hospital also has separate dog and cat wards, along with a cat-only consultation room, allowing the team to work to a very high clinical standard.
You'll be joining a team of four vets, four nurses and two support staff, all working together in a positive, professional and collaborative environment.
The practice is part of the wider Anicare Veterinary Group and the IVC Evidensia network, offering excellent support and long-term career opportunities.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organised in a busy setting and genuinely cares about animal welfare.
You'll have previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role, be comfortable using IT systems and handling payments, and feel confident communicating with clients about appointments and fees.
Strong organisation skills, attention to detail, a professional manner and a positive, team-focused attitude are essential.
Experience in a veterinary, medical or healthcare setting would be an advantage, and any interest or experience in social media would be very welcome.
