Procurement Professional
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Professional to join our client's team. As a key member, you will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
This role requires strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with the owners to support their procurement function and enjoy being busy with the business as a whole.
A typical day may involve office management, supplier liaison, reconciliations, stock control, orders and issues management, and more.
Key Responsibilities
* Source and procure high-quality goods and services from reliable suppliers.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to achieve best prices and terms.
* Manage vendor relationships to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues.
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
* Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in procurement processes.
Requirements
* Previous experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
