Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this post is to develop strategies to enable increased Patient and Family partnership across the Children’s Health Ireland and the Integrated Healthcare Area. The role aims to strengthen partnerships with patients, families, advocacy groups and charities, ensuring their voices are central to service planning, delivery, and evaluation. The post holder will also support (or promote) the Patient Feedback and Support Service (PFSS) and CHI’s Quality and Patient Safety team.
Essential Criteria
* Proven experience in partnering with patients/service users in healthcare or social care settings
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage patient-centered projects
* Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including advocacy groups
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
* Excellent written communication skills to maintain a level of professional correspondence with staff and service users
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* A relevant 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline
* Knowledge of complaint management processes and relevant legislation (e.g. Health Act 2004, Your Service Your Say)
