Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of approximately 12 staff members.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a bakery and be able to oversee the production of various bakery products including bread, pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats. This individual should be well-versed in maintaining high standards of quality and safety, as well as ensuring that all products meet customer expectations.
A strong understanding of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) principles and good knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) are essential for this role. Additionally, the Head Baker/Bakery Manager must be skilled in roster management, administration, leadership, training, and motivational techniques to maintain a positive work environment.
Responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the bakery, managing stock levels, implementing efficient production processes, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing suppliers, negotiating prices, and sourcing new products to increase revenue.

Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a senior bakery management position
* Proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity in a bakery environment
* Strong knowledge of HACCP and SOPs
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Able to manage a team effectively
* Familiarity with roster management software
* Ability to maintain high standards of quality and safety
* Diploma/Certificate in Bakery Management or related field (desired)
