Key Responsibilities
* Mainstream and advance engineering design methods to elevate the overall quality of devices.
* Design Approvals: Oversee the approval process for subsystems, incorporating thorough reviews and verification steps.
* System Development: Lead system development, encompassing robust design selection, material choice, and assembly method optimization. Ensure that finished device specifications guarantee a robust and faultless first-time outcome.
* Sourcing and Testing: Manage the procurement, creation, and testing of systems, ensuring comprehensive data analysis to drive optimal device design.
* Comprehensive Test Suites: Define and execute detailed test suites to fully grasp device design, risk, and validation in line with device specifications.
* Risk Management: Proactively oversee risks throughout the product lifecycle, driving risk management at an overall system level and ensuring risk-based design.
* Design Control Practices: Ensure device development adheres to good Design Control practices, culminating in a complete, audit-ready Design History File.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure the product's design embodies durability, usability, reliability, functionality, marketability, and manufacturability.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Lead technical discussions with multiple internal and external stakeholders, tailoring communication to suit the discussion and ensure clear understanding among all parties.

Requirements
* Education: Advanced degree in Engineering or related field.
* Experience: Proven experience in R&D Engineering, preferably in the medical device industry.
* Skills:
o Engineering Design: Proficiency in mainstream engineering design methods.
o Project Management: Experience in managing complex projects from conception to delivery.
o Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and motivate team members.
