MayoThis is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate with previous fundraising or marketing experience to join a high-profile health charity and make a real impact on its fundraising strategy and growth.Full Job DescriptionJob Title: Marketing, Events & Fundraising ManagerPurpose-To ensure that Western Alzheimers achieves its challenging fundraising targets to allow it to continue to provide services to families living with dementia in the West of Ireland.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESFundraising & Events Management -Implement and deliver Western Alzheimers fundraising strategy to achieve agreed fundraising targets.Maintain and develop the existing portfolio and future pipeline of supporters and donors by providing excellent relationship management, delivering results for Western Alzheimers and our service users.Effective use of marketing and communications strategies, including use of digital tools, to maintain and increase incomeContribute to Western Alzheimers annual financial planning processes on fundraising as part of the overall plan.Identify, approach and secure new corporate partnership opportunities, focusing on Charity of the Year partnerships, corporate donations, sponsorship opportunities, employee fundraising, payroll giving and gifts in kind.Improve promotion of Legacy and In Memoriam fundraising opportunitiesIdentify and engage with Trusts and FoundationsCreate professional and compelling fundraising materials for all activities and effective use of marketing and communications strategies to maintain and increase incomeMaintain a strong brand and high profile for Western Alzheimers, including impactful and fit-for-purpose publications, engaging website, fundraising materials and social media presence.Manage the CRM data-entry, recording and reconciliation of all fundraising income along with the Finance Manager.Ensuring all fundraising activities comply with legislation and are properly managed and controlled.Monitor and report on fundraising activity to the Chief Executive and the Board of Western Alzheimers.Keep the organisation up to date on changing donor priorities and ensure that new funding opportunities are identified and applied for promptly.Represent Western Alzheimers Foundation, attending community fundraising events, meetings with donors and other external events.Support and attend community fundraising events.Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time.General duties as a Western Alzheimers staff member -Adhere to Western Alzheimers policies and procedures and contribute to organisational processes of policy formulationPerform other duties and tasks, consistent with the skills and expertise, as required in non-routine circumstances.Travel as required.Treat all colleagues, clients, residents, tenants, volunteers, and members of the public with dignity.Participate, as appropriate, in staff forums and meetings.Carry out reasonable requests made that are within the broad remit of the role.The above is a guide to the nature of the work required.
