DescriptionAXA Insurance Ireland is currently seeking a suitable candidate for the role of Internal Financial Control (IFC) ITGC ImplementationManager to manage and lead the 2nd line risk implementation of IT General Controls and ensure a robust IT risk and control environment.At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work majority of your working week away from home. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations visiting clients or attending industry events.Management Of The IFC IT General Control Framework IncludesIFC IT scoping exerciseDesign and operational effectiveness testing of controls against the Group ITGC Risk & Control Library.Design and Operational effectiveness testing of EUC and automated controls against business process risks.Monitoring and assessment of changes to the ITGC control environment.Co-ordination and monitoring of remediation activities for any ITGC issues / deficiencies.Management of Quarterly and Annual Control Assessment.Engagement in, and evaluation of significant projects to establish the ITGC control environment.Ensure that good relationships are built and maintained with the 1st line teams under the scope of responsibilities.In Addition This Role InvolvesQuality Assurance reviews of relevant tasks undertaken by the wider team.Managing the relationship with the relevant Group Teams.Ensuring that Group instructions and framework methodologies are understood and implemented.Managing the relationship with the External Auditors in relation to the IFC Framework.Reporting to Group, AXA Ireland and AXA UK Senior Management and relevant committees included annual risk and control environment reports and reports mandated by the Group teams.QualificationsActively engage with other risk & control management functions.About The PersonMinimum of 5-7 years' experience of working in a risk or audit function. Significant experience in testing methodologies and techniques (essential)Qualified or PQ ACCA or CIMA (Accountancy Qualification) or QBE (essential)Significant risk management experience (at a managerial level) within financial servicesExpertise in Technology Risk Frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ISF, ISO27000 series)Obtained or working towards a relevant risk professional qualification (desirable)This role is an allocated Controlled Function under Fitness & Probity Regime, which means the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced level of background screening requirements.As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.This recruitment campaign will be used to support permanent, temporary and/or extension for any upcoming similar positions.To be considered for this role you will be redirected to and must complete the application process on our careers page.
