Offer description

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting patients, managing appointments, handling phone calls and emails, processing billing and insurance claims, and maintaining office organization and cleanliness.


Key Responsibilities:

* Patient Interaction: Greet patients in person and over the phone, answer questions about treatments and services, and provide a friendly and reassuring presence.
* Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments, and proactively fill cancelled slots to maximize clinician hours.
* Administrative Tasks: Manage phone calls, emails, and mail, file documents, scan medical records, and maintain patient databases.
* Financial Operations: Handle patient payments, process insurance claims, and assist with various administrative tasks related to billing and accounts.
* Office Coordination: Keep reception areas tidy, manage office supplies, and assist with any local administrative tasks.


Required Skills:

* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication is vital for interacting with patients, staff, and handling inquiries.
* Customer Service: A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor is essential to create a positive experience for patients.
* Organization: The ability to multitask and stay organized is crucial for managing schedules, patient files, and other administrative duties.
* Computer Proficiency: Strong computer skills are necessary for using dental software for bookings, managing digital records, and generating documents.
* Attention to Detail: Accuracy is important when updating patient information, filing records, and documenting treatments.
* Adaptability: Be able to handle unexpected situations and patient delays gracefully, a key aspect of the role.
