Requirements of the Head Chef
7. Proven experience as a Head Chef in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen
8. Strong leadership and team development skills
9. Excellent communication, organisation, and time management
10. Financial acumen in managing gross profit margins and labour costs
11. Up-to-date knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP regulations
12. Computer literacy and comfort with stock and ordering systems
13. Valid work permit and full legal right to work in Ireland
Responsibilities of the Head Chef
14. Lead a professional kitchen team in delivering high-end corporate catering services
15. Create and execute seasonal, fresh, and locally sourced menus tailored to client needs
16. Maintain the highest standards in food preparation, quality, and presentation
17. Work alongside senior management to drive innovation and menu development
18. Manage stock levels, food purchasing, and supplier relationships efficiently
19. Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations
20. Control kitchen costs and labour in line with financial targets and reporting metrics
21. Ensure full HACCP compliance, food safety, and cleanliness at all times
22. Schedule staff rosters in line with business needs and labour budgets
