The Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Physiotherapist for a Specific Purpose Contract to join our dedicated team, providing exceptional care to specialist palliative care patients. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver holistic physiotherapy services addressing the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of our patients.
You will be involved in the assessment and treatment of individuals with complex or chronic conditions, working independently to diagnose and develop tailored physiotherapy interventions.
You will support the Physiotherapy Manager in planning, delivering, and evaluating our physiotherapy services, contributing to professional development and promoting excellence in care. All work will reflect Marymount's values, policies, and procedures, supporting our mission to provide outstanding, person-centred care that makes a meaningful difference.
Applicants must, by the closing date:
- Be registered with CORU;
- Be a member of or eligible for membership of The Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP);
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, with evidence of leadership in service development;
- Show evidence of ongoing professional development; and
- Possess the clinical and administrative capacity to perform the role effectively.
Desirable qualifications and skills include membership of relevant clinical interest groups, which may be prioritized during shortlisting.
