Mechanical Project Engineer Role Summary
The Mechanical Project Engineer will oversee and close out snags across the entire refinery site, driving issues to resolution, and coordinate construction activities daily.
Key Responsibilities:
* Taking full ownership of overseeing and closing out snags across the entire refinery site, driving issues to resolution.
* Coordinate construction activities daily, working closely with schedulers, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure seamless progress.
* Manage large volumes of technical documentation and project records with rigorous attention to detail.
* Act as a primary point of contact for site personnel, building strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
* Deliver data-driven updates in meetings, presenting project status, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.
* Utilise software to monitor construction progress, analyse project data, and generate reports.
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
* 2+ years experience in industrial construction, oil & gas, or large-scale/heavy industry engineering projects.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Oracle, Power BI, SharePoint, and digital platforms.
* Exceptional organisational abilities, especially in managing documentation and workflow.
* Positive attitude with excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively as a team player.
