As the workforce of the future takes shape, it's an exciting time to be in Resource Management and play a pivotal role in driving our strategy and ambitions forward.As a Resourcing Business Partner you will be responsible for delivering workforce and people deployment solutions, often in a fast paced and changing environment. You will work in partnership with stakeholders, using your commercial mindset, business acumen and management information to inform and influence decisions. You'll build relationships as you connect with our people on both a personal and professional level and align them to opportunities to build their career in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.This is a 12 month fixed term contractResponsible for:As a Resourcing Business Partner, you will develop and maintain a strong knowledge of our workforce options and use this knowledge to identify and manage resource deployment solutions and utilisation across projects and Business Units. You will work with key stakeholders to actively manage our Talent pool. You will solve problems by analysing and managing resource requests across the business unit -by skill, level, industry, geography and commercials, ensuring that appropriate resources are utilised to provide clients with the best possible team for their needs whilst meeting business objectives. You will ensure that proposed solutions align with our People Value Proposition.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Workforce - Developing and maintaining a strong knowledge of the workforce options available to Consulting, communicating these Workforce options to key stakeholders on an ongoing basis; and embedding processes to enable agility in the sourcing and deployment of resources while remaining compliant with risk and quality requirements;Resourcing Solution Development: For your assigned Business Unit(s), reviewing all opportunities from a resourcing perspective, proposing resourcing options; working with opportunity owners to agree solutions, escalating where required ;Utilisation Management - Working and collaborating with stakeholders to monitor and manage utilisation ;Capacity Forecasting - Analysing historical data, and project pipelines to forecast resourcing needs; Interpreting and analysing Management Information to anticipate demand periods and skills needs and proactively addressing resource gaps;Talent Pool Management - Working with the business to actively manage available talent, evaluate their capability and proactively identify opportunities or connections to support their deployment and meet business needs;Stakeholder & Relationship Management - Managing resourcing key relationships within the Consulting Business Unit and across Advisory; Building strong relationships to establish oneself as a trusted advisor;Experience management - Where possible, matching engagements with people's career interests and ambitions, through engagement with the workforce. Where there is more than one request for a staff member, working with requesters to find a suitable solution.Experiences and skills:Minimum 6yrs + experience from Resource Management, Workforce Planning, or Operational people managementKnowledge and understanding of professional services to ensure project requirements, skills needs and objectives are understood and fulfilled;Solid understanding of Resource Management, including forecasting, strategic planning, and how these elements connect to the overarching business strategy;Effective stakeholder management and communication skills with a proven track record to negotiate and influence effectively (including with senior stakeholders);Commercial acumen - A strategic perspective, with the ability to think proactively and implement resource management strategies that align with Consulting goals;Analytical and problem solving - Proficiency in using resource management software and tools to track, analyse and report on resource utilisation;Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously;Proven ability to operate under pressure with conflicting priorities, tight deadlines and demanding stakeholder needs;Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively with Resourcing team members towards a common goal;Experience in a corporate and professional services environment is preferredUnlock your potential with PwC IrelandW e believe that challenges are better solved together We're inspiring and empowering our people to change the world.
