Advanced Nurse Practitioner Rapid Access Prostate ClinicPermanent | recruitNet | IrelandPosted On 05/03/2026Job InformationHospitalCity SandyfordState/Province DublinD**Job DescriptionRecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care.We are hiring a Advanced Nurse Practitioner Rapid Access Prostate Clinic to aHospital in Dublin, Ireland.Location: On-site – Dublin, IrelandJob Type: Permanent / Full TimeKey ResponsibilitiesProvide oversight for patients referred to the Rapid Access Prostate Clinic in collaboration with the Primary Consultants.Conduct comprehensive assessments of urology patients and provide expert clinical evaluation.Implement timely and appropriate interventions to effectively manage RAPC referrals and ensure target timeframes are met.Coordinate care between Urology specialists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals.Ensure smooth transitions across different levels of care, including inpatient, outpatient, and community services.Offer psychological and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the care pathway.Educate patients and families on the RAPC pathway, including required diagnostic procedures, diagnosis, and treatment plans.Deliver evidence-based education to patients to support understanding and management of their condition.Provide training and support to staff to enhance their skills in managing RAPC patients.Monitor and oversee KPIs within the RAPC service to ensure compliance and optimal performance.Develop and implement care pathways and clinical protocols for managing RAPC patients.Review and evaluate patient length of stay in line with best practice standards.Monitor and assess the quality of care to ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and best practice.Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service efficiency.RequirementsRegistered in the Advanced Nurse Practitioner Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).Registered in the Nurse Prescribers Division of the NMBI.Hold a Master’s degree (NFQ Level 9 or equivalent) relevant to the clinical specialty.Possess the required clinical knowledge, professional competence, and administrative ability to effectively carry out the responsibilities of the role.Have a minimum of 5 years’ post-registration clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a relevant specialist area.Demonstrate the ability to practice safely and effectively within professional scope and maintain evidence of continuous professional development.Show strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to present information clearly, provide feedback, and support learning.Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining strong professional relationships.Exhibit effective organisational, planning, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.Display strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a commitment to quality improvement, audit participation, and patient-centred care.Fully funded private health insuranceHighly competitive salary packageEmployer pension contributionsRelocation assistance (where applicable)Subsidised on-site parkingEducational grants and financial support for further studiesOngoing continuous professional development opportunitiesStructured career progression pathwaysDiscounted healthcare services for employees and immediate family members
