We are seeking a skilled Bread Baker to join our client's bakery team in County Kerry. As a Baker, you will craft high-quality bread products while maintaining consistency and adhering to established recipes. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of €30,000 to €40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, mix, knead, and bake bread products to meet production schedules.
2. Monitor fermentation and proofing for optimal texture and flavour.
3. Conduct quality checks on dough and finished products to ensure high standards.
4. Operate and maintain baking equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
5. Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
6. Proven experience in bread baking or a similar role.
7. Strong knowledge of bread-making techniques, including proofing and baking.
8. Familiarity with baking equipment and tools.
9. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality.
10. Physical stamina for extended periods of standing and lifting heavy items.
11. Flexibility to work evening and night shifts.
12. Confectionery experience is a plus.
