Business Development / Account Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum + Monthly Car Allowance + Commission
Location: Antrim ( Hybrid working Available)
We are currently recruiting for a Business Development / Account Manager to join a growing I.T organisation, acting as the primary liaison between the business and key enterprise and SME clients across multiple industry sectors.
This role is split approximately 50% Account Management and 50% Business Development, focused on managing and growing strategic client relationships while also identifying and converting new business opportunities. You will play a key role in driving sustainable revenue growth and ensuring the successful delivery of IT and security solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management (Approx. 50%)
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with enterprise and strategic clients Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue, margin, and retention targets Identify and deliver upsell and cross-sell opportunities across all products and services Manage pipeline forecasting, revenue performance, and account profitability Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions Monitor account performance and report KPIs and client health metrics Act as the escalation point for key client issues and ensure effective resolution Provide client insights to support product and service improvement initiatives
Business Development (Approx. 50%)
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within target sectors Build new pipeline through networking, referrals, outreach, and marketing campaigns Conduct discovery meetings to understand client needs and technical requirements Work with technical teams to develop value-driven solutions and proposals Manage the full sales lifecycle from engagement through to contract close Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and forecasting
About You
3-5 years’ experience in Account Management and Business Development, ideally the I.T or Technology sector. Strong relationship-building and commercial negotiation skills Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and managing key strategic accounts Highly organised with strong forecasting and pipeline management capability Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £50k–£55k, monthly car allowance, attractive commission structure, and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organisation.
