Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Service Assistant to join our team in Castletroy Limerick, Ireland. As a vital member of our food service operations, you will contribute to creating a positive dining experience for our customers while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.Assist in food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredientsServe meals and beverages to customers in a friendly and efficient mannerOperate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioningFollow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a hygienic work environmentRestock serving lines, condiment stations, and dining areas as neededAssist with inventory management and storage of food items and suppliesCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely serviceRespond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concernsParticipate in cleaning and organizing kitchen and dining areasAssist with special events and catering services as required
QualificationsFood handling experiencePrevious experience in food service or hospitality industry preferredKnowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanorStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentFlexible and adaptable to changing priorities and work schedulesBasic math skills for cash handling and inventory managementPhysical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periodsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
