Medforce are recruiting a CORU registered Occupational Therapist for our client who runs a primary care network in Ballinasloe, Galway.
In this role, the Occupational Therapist will support adults in the community to enhance their independence and quality of life through personalised interventions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess needs, develop tailored care plans, and promote daily living skills. Staff Grades will be offered extensive training and induction coupled with excellent support and supervision.
This is a full time, 35 hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement and CPD opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and treat adults with physical, cognitive and psychosocial needs.
* Develop and implement individualised intervention plans to support daily living and functional independence.
* Work closely with GPs, Physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
* Provide education, training and advice to clients and caregivers.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with HSE standards.
Essential Criteria:
* Degree in Occupational therapy, recognised by CORU.
* Experience in adult primary care, rehabilitation, or related settings.
* Strong knowledge of evidence-based interventions and best practices.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle (essential).
