VP Custody Client Service Manager
to join their senior
Client Management function
, with responsibility across
Custody and Depositary services
.
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role offering significant visibility, autonomy and influence across regulated investment fund relationships.
The Opportunity
In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of complex custody and depositary clients, acting as a senior point of contact while ensuring strong governance, regulatory adherence and service excellence. You will work closely with internal operational, risk and senior management teams to drive high standards and continuous improvement.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
* Leading and managing senior client relationships across Custody and Depositary services
* Providing oversight of regulatory and control frameworks, ensuring adherence to Depositary requirements
* Representing the organisation at client meetings, FMC reviews and board-level discussions
* Proactively monitoring service delivery, identifying emerging risks or issues and driving timely resolution
* Partnering with internal Depositary Operations, Risk, Compliance and Project teams
* Supporting due diligence visits and regulatory engagement, showcasing a strong control environment
* Contributing to strategic initiatives, including automation, service model enhancement and growth planning
* Providing guidance, oversight and informal leadership to less experienced team members
* Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on operational, governance and service matters
The Ideal Profile
* Extensive experience within
Custody, Trustee or Depositary Client Management
* Strong understanding of the
investment funds industry
and regulatory landscape
* Proven ability to manage senior client relationships and complex stakeholder environments
* A strong controls and risk mindset, with sound judgement around escalation
* Demonstrated leadership capability and experience supporting team development
* Excellent communication skills, with confidence engaging at senior and board level
* Third-level qualification, preferably in a business, finance or legal discipline
