Overview Berkeley Solicitors is a niche law firm specialising in immigration law.
They are looking to recruit an Immigration Solicitor to join their busy team.
Responsibilities Managing a full caseload of active immigration files Daily legal advice consultations in the area of immigration law Preparing and drafting immigration applications to the Department of Justice and other relevant bodies Preparing and drafting employment permit applications to the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment Issuing Judicial Review proceedings and managing Judicial Review files Attending court in person or remotely Updating precedent library Training caseworkers and support assistants Required skills Previous experience working as a solicitor in the area of immigration law/international protection/human rights essential Previous experience in litigation will be preferred Excellent knowledge of immigration law and practice in Ireland Strong work ethic, hard working, pro active and attention for detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills An ability to manage a very busy workload and meet deadlines Be very well organised in all aspects of a fast paced, multi tasked role An ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Willingness to constantly learn from working with experienced team members, keeping up to date with caselaw, attending CPD events and conferences, etc.
