Financial Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced Financial Leader to join our organisation in South Dublin. This is a pivotal role within the finance function, with responsibility for managing multiple entities and ensuring robust financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and high-quality analysis.
* Producing timely and accurate management accounts for six companies within the group.
* Consolidating group results and delivering variance analysis compared to budgets and forecasts.
* Assisting with group budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
* Creating and monitoring KPIs across the organisation.
* Working closely with managers and department leaders to provide financial insight and support strategic decisions.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Ensuring adherence to accounting standards, tax rules, and statutory obligations.
* Managing AP/AR functions, payroll journals, reconciliations, and the month-end process.
* Presenting financial performance and insights to senior management.
* Identifying opportunities to enhance systems, reporting, and internal processes.
* Strengthening internal controls and contributing to group risk management.
* Coordinating with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Key Requirements
* Qualified Accountant or finalist with a recognised professional body.
* 2+ years experience in a comparable role, ideally within a group or multi-entity setting.
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and Irish tax requirements.
* Experience with accounting software such as Sage 200, Sage 50, ABM, or Navision, along with strong Excel capability.
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Confident communication abilities, including presenting financial information to non-finance audiences.
* A demonstrated ability to enhance reporting, systems, and processes.
