We support people with intellectual disabilities through residential care, day services, independent living, job advocacy, and vocational training. Purpose of the Post Reporting to Head of Service Innovation & Development the Business Development Officer will be on a Fixed Term (3-Year) contract. The role of the Business Development Officer is to identify and develop new employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities, within the scope of Stewarts Employability Gateway Hub. Experience and Qualifications A third-level qualification in business, marketing, recruitment, or another relevant field. Track record in a business development role. Experience of engagement with business and organisations across a range of sectors. Flexibility to work across all areas outlined using own initiative. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to demonstrate a strong commitment to the values of Stewarts Care to improve the lives of the people we support. Commitment to person-centred and rights-based approaches. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider dynamic team. Organisational, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Adaptable and creative in providing supports. Strong IT skills including MS Office. Desirable: Experience working in an employment development role. Knowledge of Supported Employment and inclusive workplace practices. Knowledge of Irish disability and social services (e.g. HSE, INTREO, Ability Programme). Full clean driving licence and access to own transport. Salary In line with the Department of Health consolidated pay scales, the current salary scale is GRADE V (CLERICAL €51,718 -LSI1 €59,969 - LSI2 €61,866 per annum (including LSI).
