We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer Lead. This person will guide a team of 5 to 10 people. They will help build new solutions and improve how our customers work.
We are looking for people with the below experience:
* Experience leading a high performing, large team of engineers
* Excellent cross functional stakeholder management skills
* Come from a software engineering background with knowledge and experience in Java and other java related technologies
* Strong experience in AWS Cloud environment
* Excellent technical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
In the role you can expect to be responsible for:
* Leading of a multi-disciplinary software development team
* Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team
* Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly and monthly goals
* Liaising with team members, management and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard
* Hiring, building and growing strong teams
* Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments
* Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required
* Motivating staff and creating a space where they can excel
* Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures and successes
