Customer Service Excellence
Job Summary:
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and promoting sales growth. You will work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, maintain high standards of customer service, and drive sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver outstanding customer service by offering efficient and friendly assistance, implementing company guidelines, and ensuring customers are served promptly and effectively.
2. Develop and share product knowledge with staff and customers to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
3. Ensure the store layout and appearance are appealing to customers, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
4. Assist with staffing and training, including managing staff rotas, recruiting and selecting replacement staff, and providing training to ensure staff are equipped to perform their duties.
5. Manage administration and accounting tasks, including completing site paperwork, accounts, and calculating wages sheets, as well as reconciling petty cash levels and processing banking and lodgements.
6. Process cash and credit/debit card transactions strictly in accordance with company policy, adhering to stock ordering and control procedures to maintain product stocks at optimal levels.
7. Lead by example, setting and adhering to standards of conduct and performance expected of your position, ensuring all staff do the same.

* Proficient in using technology, including point-of-sale systems and software applications.
* Knowledge of customer service principles and practices, with experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
