We require an outgoing & enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Parkavon. Located on Muckross Road, the hotel offers a business mix of domestic leisure, overseas leisure and overseas tour group business.Previous experience with Hotsoft PMS/Reservations System is a distinct advantage. Full training will be provided, with an immediate start for the successful candidate.The hotel offers all year employment, closing only December 23/26th. You will report to the Reservations Manager.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesExtend a warm welcome to our hotel guests.Register the guest on arrival, confirm details and process room payment.Explain hotel facilities and in-house proceduresAnswer guest queries in a timely & courteous manner.Be informed of local amenities, attractions, tours and points of interest & natural beauty in Killarney & Kerry.Make and confirm guest reservations online, by phone and in person & update all guest information or changes on Hotsoft.Take responsibility for the issue & security of guest room key cards.Report maintenance issues.Requirements:Excellent customer serviceWork on your own initiative.Great interpersonal skills.Good IT skillsBe able to cope well under pressure.Be fully flexible to work various shifts including; early/ late/ weekends/ bank holidaysNo Work Permits/Visas - Fluent Spoken & Written English requiredJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeExpected hours: 20 – 39 per weekBenefits:Food allowanceOn-site gymOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
