Job Description:
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a team of professionals on a large-scale educational project in Ennis, Co Clare.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage construction works on site to ensure they are completed safely and within the set timeframe
* Oversee day-to-day management of site technical and engineering requirements, including RFIs, Submittals, Shop Drawings, and Design Team Workshops
* Set out site works using robotic total stations, GPS, and other surveying tools to ensure accurate measurements and layouts
* Implement quality control measures on the site in line with the overall Building Control Act Regulations plan for the project
* Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and quantity surveyors in the planning and construction of the project
* Support the Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure that works are completed as per programme and to a high standard
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Third-level qualification in Engineering or related discipline
* Knowledge of various types of construction and construction techniques
* 2-4 years experience on Irish Construction projects
* Competence in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works coordination
* Strong numeracy and report writing skills
* Ability to formulate plans and execute in line with budget and timeline
