About Your New Job As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will: Lead and deliver electrical engineering design packages across all project stages, ensuring outputs meet accuracy, coordination, and quality standards. Manage the full electrical design process for projects of all sizes, apply engineering judgement, and resolve complex technical challenges. Guide and mentor junior engineers, supporting their technical growth and daily activities within the team. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions and attend design meetings, workshops, and site visits as required. Take responsibility for your deliverables quality and commercial performance, while promoting consistency and best practice across project outputs. Assist BIM and modelling teams to produce coordinated 3D models and detailed drawings. Engage with clients and stakeholders, contribute to technical input from concept to construction, and maintain the companys professional reputation. Support the implementation of new engineering processes, tools, and systems, and demonstrate leadership both internally and externally. Maintain and promote environmental standards in accordance with the companys EMS and sustainability commitments. What Skills You Need Minimum degree level in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent. 3+ years of building services consultancy design experience, with proven ability to deliver detailed designs through the full project lifecycle. Expert knowledge in electrical design: Lighting & Emergency Lighting, Small Power and Data, Fire Alarms, CCTV & Intruder Alarms, MV/LV Power Distribution, Containment, and BMS. Advanced user of Amtech, Relux/Dialux; BIM experience advantageous. Strong understanding of other building disciplines and their integration with electrical design. Track record of effective leadership, commercial awareness, and project management. Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities. Chartership desirable.
