Maintenance Technician An excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on role that combines preventative and reactive maintenance with the chance to work on a variety of equipment and systems, from production machinery to site utilities.

As a result of ongoing success, our client now seeks to hire a new Maintenance Technician for their site in Naas, co Kildare.
The Role The Successful Maintenance Technician will report to the Engineering Manager, and will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, and improvement of production equipment and utilities.
You will troubleshoot using PLCs, support engineering projects, and work closely with operations and health & safety teams to ensure compliance and performance.
There are multiple shift roles available: 2 x morning and evening shifts - Monday to Friday 1 x combination shift - will entail working a combination of days and nights on a 4 week cycle.
You will only work 7 days during each 2 week cycle!
Key responsibilities include: Providing reactive and planned maintenance across the site.
Installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting plant and equipment.
Carrying out diagnostics and basic programming on equipment.
Troubleshooting PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Schneider).
Supporting facilities equipment such as HVAC, compressed air, refrigeration.
Executing preventive maintenance and supporting continuous improvement.
Monitoring equipment performance and recommending improvements.
The Person You are a practical, flexible, and solutions-oriented professional with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and a proactive approach to reliability and safety.
You will bring: A relevant trade qualification (Electrician, Fitter, or Engineering Degree).
Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance technician role.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience in motor control systems, pneumatics, temperature control, and safety systems.
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems).
