A well-known developer is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join its Galway team on a two-year fixed-term contract, for a large scale housing project. Key Responsibilities Review design drawings, manage RFIs, and participate in Design Team Meetings. Communicate approved technical submittals and ensure understanding across site teams. Monitor programme delivery, report progress, and intervene to avoid delays. Coordinate subcontractors and service providers, ensuring quality, testing, and commissioning targets are met. Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, design documents, and relevant standards. Conduct continuous site inspections, resolving issues promptly. Coordinate site drawings and maintain accurate quality and site records. Manage relationships with third-party stakeholders (e.g., utilities and local authorities). Drive value engineering. Chair site meetings and promote a best-in-class customer and stakeholder experience. Candidate Profile Minimum 5 years experience in a similar engineering role. Level 8 Engineering qualification (HETAC or equivalent). Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
