We are looking for a Payroll Administrator (Maternity Cover/12-18 Month Contract) to join the payroll team, responsible for managing ROI and NI weekly and monthly payrolls for 2000+ employees.
ResponsibilitiesLiaising with Store Managers regarding exceptions e.g.
paperwork, hours worked, holiday, sick pay entitlementsProcessing payrolls on a weekly basis in an accurate, on-time, compliant mannerCollaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee dataCalculating holiday pay, sick pay and other statutory paymentsProcess new starters, leavers, review and verify employee records Answer queries relating timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters
Key RequirementsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIn-depth understanding of tax and employment rules and regulations Attention to detail and strong numeracy skillsStrong organisational and time management skills Ability to prioritise tasks effectively Interpersonal skillsReliable, supportive and positive with a committed and hardworking attitudeThe ability to cope under pressure and work effectively towards deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookKnowledge of Kronos and/or Megapay would be an advantagePrevious experience in a Payroll Admin role essential
