As Senior Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Analyst you will join a professional team in one of Ireland's most reputable independent statutory authorities within Health & Social Care. Your new office is located in either Dublin, Cork or Galway City, depending on your location. You will have a hybrid work model; 1-2 days in the office.
Your newpany is seeking to hire two Senior HTA Analysts; the duration of the roles varies from 8 to 11 months.
Your new role
As Senior HTA Analyst, you will join a multidisciplinary team with responsibility for the effective implementation of programmes to deliver high quality health technology assessments, other evidence-based advice and evidence synthesis outputs and therefore to embed evidence-based methodology in the health decision-making processes in Ireland.
Your duties will include but are not limited to leading and contributing to the production of broadprehensive HTAs and evidence syntheses and appraisals of evidence submissions by multidisciplinary teams within defined timelines; drafting and report writing; conducting systematic literature reviews; gathering, analysing and interpreting data; representing your newpany in interactions with both national and international healthcare stakeholders; leading on or contributing to the development of peer reviewed academic publications; developing and implementing project management plans; contributing to the development of processes, policies, quality standards and training; managing and mentoring junior team members and all other ad-hoc duties that fall into your new role.

What you'll need to succeed
To be Senior HTA Analyst, you will ideally have a degree qualification within a relevant area such as health services research, health economics or a relevant clinical area. A Postgraduate degree in a relevant area, such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Medical Statistics, Health Services Research*, (or in a health-related science with a high content in health services research) is desirable. Five years of experience in relevant health services research along with extensive practical experience across two or more relevant fields of expertise in health services research, for example epidemiological analysis and/or statistical analysis; data analysis; simulation modeling of clinical benefits; cost-effectiveness and budget impact of health interventions; systematic review of clinical effectiveness, safety and cost-effectiveness or clinical practice is essential.
Practical experience of evaluating and interpretingplex scientific and/or economic literature on health interventions along with experience of implementing quality assurance processes for evidence synthesis is necessary. You will have the ability to lead and manage teams to deliverplex projects within tight timelines and bepetent interacting but internal and external stakeholders. Experience in writing and editing technical reports and presenting information through a variety of means to a range of audience is required.
