Lead Nursing Professional Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead Nursing Professional to join our healthcare team.
* Provides professional leadership to all nursing staff, fostering a culture which values continuing professional development and strives for excellence in the delivery of patient care and quality improvement in line with international standards.
* Collaborates and works with Director-level colleagues in leading on the development and implementation of nursing strategies, providing advice as required on nursing and patient experience issues, in accordance with local and national policy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leads on nursing metrics across the assigned area of responsibility within the hospital, ensuring data quality is assured to senior management.
* Liaise with theatre services teams to ensure efficient utilisation of resources.
* To stay up-to-date with the latest developments in medicine/nursing, attending lectures, seminars and refresher courses.
Requirements:
* Registered nurse with a level 8 (QQI) award in health care or management related area.
