Senior Occupational Therapist Opportunity
The role of Senior Occupational Therapist involves maintaining and building on a strong OT presence, focusing on preventative and recovery-focused interventions for individuals living with mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a complex caseload of adults with varying mental health presentations.
* Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify functional needs and inform care planning.
* Develop and deliver individual and group-based interventions focused on improving daily living skills, community participation, vocational goals, and social engagement.
* Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop recovery-focused care plans tailored to each service user.
* Participate in discharge planning, transition support, and liaison with primary care, community supports, and family/carers.
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification).
* CORU Registration.
* Minimum of three years post-qualification experience, with at least one year in adult mental health.
* Experience delivering occupational therapy in the Community.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing a diverse caseload.
* Full driver's licence and access to own transport.
