Job Description: Production Team Member
Chef in a Box makes Ready to Eat Meals on our premises at The Food Hub Drumshanbo. We take great care to ensure we only use natural ingredients and traditional cooking methods. By strictly following these policies we ensure we produce top quality products on a consistent basis and thus satisfy our customer's requirements. As a member of the Production team your duties are
a) To carry out all work associated with the preparation, cooking, cooling, slicing, assembling, packing, chilling, storing and despatching of products in the factory.
b) Packing and labelling of produce according to customer specification.
Maintain daily records, where necessary, of both raw/cooked materials used in the production process and lost, due to waste or give away.
Check that the correct rotation of ingredients & products is used at all times to ensure oldest materials are used first. We operate a FIFO system (First in First out)
Be familiar with the customer quality specifications and maintain the quality standards.
Report any quality issues to the Team Leader or Production Manager.
c) Ensure that all Hygiene/Quality Standards are adhered to, as set out by the Management Team
and customers.
d) Carry out the routine maintenance/cleaning schedules.
e) Assist in other working areas on site as directed.
f) Ensure that all Health & Safety procedures, as laid out during training, are understood and clearly acted upon during the working day.

Pay: From €13.50 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Drumshanbo, Drumshambo, CO. Leitrim N41WV80: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
* Leaving Certificate (preferred)
