The market within which RTÉ operates is constantly evolving. In the next decade, RTÉ will transform into an innovative, IP-based public service media provider. This transition will make RTÉ fully integrated, digital-native, and personalised, offering new ways to meet the evolving needs of diverse audiences across devices.The OpportunityRTÉ is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief People Officer to continue to drive transformation across the organisation through innovative HR practices.ResponsibilitiesAct as a strategic advisor to the Leadership Team on all people-related matters.Lead HR transformation initiatives aligned with RTÉ’s strategic goals.Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute strategic workforce planning.Maintain strong relationships with trade unions and employee representatives.Champion a values-driven culture that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.Build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.QualificationsAt least 10 years in a senior leadership role in a complex, significantly sized organisation.Appreciation of complex employee relations environments with unionised colleagues.Proven track record of successful HR strategy implementation and change management, analysis, and reporting.Proven commercial acumen and linking HR strategy to business strategies.Understanding of compensation, benefits, and employee engagement.Ability to influence and challenge others at all levels in an organisation.Effective at developing and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.How to ApplyOdgers have been exclusively retained by RTÉ to manage the appointment process.
