We are preparing to launch a brand-new Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce platform, allowing sweet-toothed customers to buy their favorites online for the first time. We are looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media Specialist to lead the digital voice of our portfolio and drive the success of this new online store.The RoleYou won't just be posting photos of chocolate; you will be building the digital roadmap for our future. As our Social Media Specialist, you will manage the unique identities of our multiple brands, distinguishing our traditional heritage lines from our exciting new product launches.Your primary mission will be to establish our social presence as a sales driver, creating hype around our new e-commerce site and converting followers into customers.This is an ideal role for a self-starter, looking to utilise their entrepreneurial skills within a new sector of our business. Full or part time work will depend on the candidate.Key Responsibilities1. Multi-Brand Strategy & Content CreationDevelop and execute distinct social media strategies for each brand in our portfolio, ensuring the "voice" of each brand remains consistent (e.g., nostalgic and warm for Brand A, bold and energetic for Brand B).Plan, shoot, and edit engaging "social-first" content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that showcases our confectionery products in mouth-watering detail.Manage the monthly content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.2. E-Commerce Launch & GrowthSpearhead the social media launch campaign for our new e-commerce website.Work closely with the Chief Executive to drive traffic to the site through organic content and paid social campaigns (Meta & TikTok Ads).Utilize "Social Commerce" features (Instagram Shopping, TikTok Shop) to reduce friction between discovery and purchase.3. Community Management & Influencer RelationsBuild and nurture an active online community. You are the frontline of our customer service on social; engaging with comments, DMs, and user-generated content is vital.Identify and collaborate with Irish foodies, lifestyle influencers, and content creators to amplify our new product launches.4. Analytics & ReportingTrack key performance indicators (KPIs) with a focus on conversion, ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), and engagement rates.Provide monthly reports detailing how social activity is impacting e-commerce sales.What We Are Looking ForExperience: 1+ years of experience in social media engagement, preferably within the FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Retail sectors.E-Commerce Savvy: Proven experience driving traffic to an online store (Shopify/WooCommerce experience is a plus). You understand the funnel from "Like" to "Add to Cart."Content Wizard: Proficiency with mobile video editing tools (CapCut, InShot) and design tools (Canva, Photoshop).
