Job Description Tech Stack – strong SQL skills for the following: Azure SQL Databases Azure SQL MI Azure SQL Managed Instance Database Alerting Advise client on key areas for performance and monitoring – understanding of Azure AMBA or native tooling to be leveraged Work with client team to enhance Azure alerting and integration with client incident management tooling Azure SQL DBA Support Provide guidance and support to client team, who have background in On-premise SQL and are up skilling on Azure Multi Region expansion Provide support with client expansion to a secondary region Design documentation updates, with consideration for any impact to backup and immutability solutions Support OAT and failover testing, providing input to define test scenarios/criteria Soft Skills - Will be only person on the team working solely with client DBA team – with support from senior member of wider team.
