Key Responsibilities:
* Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of corporate tax, income tax, and VAT clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all obligations.
* Review & Oversight: Review compliance work prepared by junior staff, ensuring high standards of accuracy and presentation.
* Client Engagement: Serve as a key contact for clients on compliance issues, including interpreting tax legislation and managing Revenue correspondence.
* Technical Research: Conduct tax research and provide insights into evolving legislation and technical issues.
* Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across departments to deliver coordinated client service.
* Mentorship: Support the professional development of junior team members through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A CTA qualification, with an additional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA/ACCA) advantageous but not essential.
* Minimum 23 years post-qualification experience in a tax compliance role, preferably within a professional services environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of Irish corporate and personal tax compliance.
* Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
* Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills.
