Our client is a multinational manufacturing company in the Clare area with huge global and local presence. The team are in search of a Purchasing and Procurement Manager to join the team as they expand the enterprise - this is a BRAND NEW position to the team.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a team of 3 direct reports, and develop to create a high performing procurement function.
* Develop supplier relationships across the globe.
* Oversee purchase order approvals.
* Identify initiatives for cost saving and stock reduction.
Key Skills Required
* Degree related to Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field.
* 3+ years experience within purchasing and procurement in a manufacturing environment ideally.
* Experience in supplier relationship management, and delivering on optimizations with cost reduction.
