The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing & Logistics Specialist to join our Dublin office. This role plays a key part in managing the procurement, movement, and availability of materials for fibre network build.
You will work closely with project managers, site teams & suppliers, to ensure efficient purchasing processes, accurate stock control, and reliable delivery to site and warehouse locations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage purchasing activities, including raising purchase orders, supplier coordination, and order tracking
* Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers, including price negotiation and performance monitoring
* Coordinate logistics and delivery of materials to sites and warehouses across Europe
* Monitor inventory levels and support effective stock control to minimise shortages, delays, and excess stock
* Forecast material requirements in line with project schedules and operational demand
* Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and delivery records within the inventory systems
* Resolve delivery, quality, or supply issues in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
* Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, health & safety standards, and best practices
Requirements
* 3–5 years' experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain, or procurement
* (experience in construction, telecoms, utilities, or infrastructure is a strong advantage)
* Strong understanding of purchasing processes, inventory management, and logistics coordination
* Experience using purchasing/inventory management systems
* Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
* Strong attention to detail and analytical capability
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard business toolsDesirable
* Experience supporting fibre, telecoms, or infrastructure projects
* Knowledge of Irish suppliers, couriers, and logistics providers
* Qualification in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related discipline
