Job Title – Package Manager
Project – Commercial
Job Location – Dublin
Salary – €65K-€75K
About the Company
Working on a high profile commercial new build in Dublin City Centre with a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
The project is to run to 2024 with over €100M in value and 7 stories.
The Role
* Coordinate and monitor and review construction activities with regards to structures and systems.
* Ensure that H&S and company policies area adhered to on site.
* Take control of the financial and technical aspects for the project- procurement of materials and labour within budget.
* Liaise with the engineering team to ensure works are completed according to the programme and to a high standard.
* Implement and monitor quality measures/ procedures and standards.
* Report to and support the Contracts Manager to ensure smooth completion of project.
* Update senior management, clients and directors on the progress of the project and quality.
* Direct and Manage internal finitises on a daily bases.
* Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate and liaise with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all personnel have accurate and timely information.
Requirements
* Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
* Proven record of managing projects from start to completion with a main contractor.
* Experience with protected structures and new build is essential.
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience with a Main Contractor
* Background in engineering is desirable
* Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines and update the programme when necessary.
* Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
