Westmeath.Purpose of the role:DPD Ireland are looking for a motivated Junior Frontend/Mobile Developer to join their engineering team. You will be responsible for building high-performance, accessible, and user-friendly web and mobile applications. Youll be working heavily with frameworks such as React and programming languages including Typescript to bridge the gap between design and technical implementation, ensuring our users have a seamless experience from the moment they hit the landing page.
Responsibilities
Feature Development: Build and maintain scalable sites and applications using modern frameworks and cross platform tools and services
Data Integration: Fetch and process data from a wide variety of sources efficiently.
Performance Optimization: Provide ongoing quality improvements for existing systems.
Testing & Quality: Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards

Skills
Skills Required:
JavaScript/TypeScript: Good grasp of programming fundamentals and open to working with other complimentary systems
React/Vue/Svelte: Experience with modern frameworks, tools and methods
HTML/CSS: Proficient in HTML and modern CSS and an interest in layout, design, usability and compatibility
Git: Proficiency with version control, branching, and pull request workflows
Skills Preferred:
Familiarity with general programming concepts (language agnostic) and how to efficiently solve problems
Knowledge of SQL or experience working with other databases
An interest in evolving technologies and a keen eye for detail and design
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Comfortable working in an agile environment where requirements may evolve
