An exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Inspection Specialist to join our client, a leading packaging and labelling manufacturer on an initial 6-month contract (great scope for extension/permanency). This company is based in Mallow, Cork and the role will involve working onsite here as well as at a customer site in Carrigtwohill, Cork on an ad-hoc basis.
Role Responsibilities
* Development of work and test plans based on the accurate interpretation of customer project documentation.
* Carry out detailed and accurate inspections on the products as defined in the test plans to meet customer expectations.
* Carry out assembly of the packages to be tested as per the test plan to meet customer expectations.
* Accurate recording of all inspection and assembly activity using current ‘Good Documentation Practices’ as defined by ISC Labs quality documentation.
* Provide regular updates on progress against schedule to the customer and project engineer as required.
* Schedule time on site for inspection and assembly and the required testing with the vendor ensuring project timelines are maintained.
* Point of contact for customer concerns ensuring customer expectations are met and exceeded.
* Ensure training records are kept up to date.
Role Requirements
* Experience working in a pharmaceutical or medical device environment.
* Has to have strong GMP/Good Documentation experience.
* Ideally experience in QC/QA.
