Senior PsychologistMedforce is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Psychologist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team based in South City Centre, Dublin. The successful candidate will provide high-level psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention services as part of a community-based mental health or primary care service, depending on placement. This role includes supervision responsibilities and contributes to service development and quality improvement initiatives.Responsibilities of Senior PsychologistDeliver advanced psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions to service users presenting with complex psychological needs.Provide consultation, guidance, and psychological input to other team members and allied professionals.Lead or contribute to multidisciplinary case planning and review meetings.Offer clinical supervision and mentoring to junior psychologists, assistant psychologists, and trainees.Contribute to service evaluation, audit, and research in line with best practice standards.Participate in service planning and development in collaboration with the Principal Psychologist and other senior staff.Ensure that all practice is conducted in accordance with the HSE’s ethical and professional standards.Requirements of Senior PsychologistA recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or equivalent) as validated by the Department of HealthMinimum of three years’ post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist,PSI registration as a Chartered Psychologist or eligibility for same.Proven experience working in a multidisciplinary setting within public health services.Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.Experience supervising psychological staff or students.#MEDAHP
