Job Summary:
The Finance and Cost Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries related to manufacturing accounting, conducting margin variance analysis, and monitoring variances to standard cost.
Main Responsibilities:
* Prepare account reconciliations to ensure proper balance sheet valuation, with appropriate accounting treatment for potential risk.
* Monitor variances to standard cost and investigate significant differences.
* Participate in monthly close activities and calculate standard costing of products in SAP.
* Drive consistency and standardisation of cost accounting in line with Corporate Policies.
* Provide finance guidance for customer pricing simulations, financial analysis and modelling.
* Ensure timely closing of SAP and reporting submissions to head office.
* Act as a business partner to functions across the manufacturing site and the wider finance community.
* Deliver timely and comprehensive reporting of income statement and balance sheet.
* Prepare Statutory Accounts, Regulatory and Revenue returns.
* Liaise with external and internal auditors.

Professional Qualifications:
ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualification.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in cost accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Experience of working in a multinational environment.
* Experience with SAP and familiarity with IFRS an advantage.
