Job Description
Job Title: Painter Decorator
Location: Carrickglen, Assumpta Park, Shankill, Co Dublin and several locations across Ireland
Salary: €23.00 per hour
Hours: 39 hrs/wk
Responsibilities
* Application of specialist coating by brush and spray.
* Surface preparation by various means.
* Grit blasting.
* Decorating painting, drawings and textures as per job specification.
* Maintaining painting of interior and exterior spaces.
* Repainting internal walls, doors and woodwork as required.
* Preparing all work areas by covering surfaces with protective materials.
* Using putty, caulk, plaster and other fillers to fill cracks and holes as required.
* Mixing and matching paint colours, stain, or varnish.
* Monitoring and maintaining presentation standards.
* Performing general maintenance and painting repairs internally and externally.
Requirements
* Experience in Industrial painting contracts preferable.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar position.
* Good working knowledge of English is preferable.
* Completed Health and Safety training would be an advantage.
* Have knowledge of painting tools, equipment and colours.
