We’re partnering with a highly regarded practice looking to appoint an Audit Director to play a key role in shaping their audit function, leading complex engagements, and driving strategic growth.
The Role
As Audit Director, you will:
Lead and manage complex audit engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and exceptional client service
Work closely with Partners on strategic initiatives and operational priorities
Oversee planning, execution, and completion of audits across a diverse client base
Act as a senior point of contact for key clients, building trusted, long-term relationships
Support business development, contributing to proposals and identifying growth opportunities
Review technical work and ensure compliance with auditing standards, FRS 102 and IFRS
Manage team resourcing, mentor staff, and support performance development
Drive continuous improvement, quality, and a collaborative team culture
About You
Currently operating at Senior Manager or Director level within audit
Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, FRS 102 and IFRS
Proven experience managing complex audits across varied sectors
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development capability
Commercial awareness with the ability to identify growth opportunities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven ability to deliver high-quality work and manage competing priorities
