Technical Facilities Lead
Susquehanna is a leading financial services company with a strong presence in the global market. As a Technical Facilities Lead, you will be part of our team responsible for designing, building out, maintaining and supporting the firm's critical infrastructure.
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to operate and maintain power distribution equipment at our headquarters office building, from utility service entrance to branch circuit distribution. Additionally, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining critical HVAC equipment in areas including data centers, IDF rooms, trading floors, and electric/mechanical rooms.
You will also be responsible for operating and maintaining critical area fire systems, maintaining a clean and safe environment in all critical areas and equipment areas, reviewing and negotiating service contracts, and selecting appropriate contractors.
Key responsibilities include planning and maintaining technical facilities budgets, overseeing contractors working in critical areas or on critical equipment to ensure SIG policies and standards are followed, and being responsible for or assisting with all electrical and mechanical construction projects in critical space.
In this role, you will provide hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting, maintain infrastructure records, operations manuals, and service records, and provide remote site engineering support. You will also be on call 24/7/365.
We are looking for someone with strong skills and experience in HVAC, OSHA training, electrical safety training, electrical/mechanical training or experience, and a minimum of 5 years' experience working in mission-critical areas or data centers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills that facilitate teamwork and interaction with colleagues and internal clients, some proficiency in AutoCAD, ability to interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
